Matthew Johnston

Matthew is a digital accessibility advocate and a disability champion. Born deaf, he lives and breathes in captions. His passion is to have live captions everywhere to make the world more inclusive.

Matthew currently works for Thoughtworks, a global technology consultancy as a global program manager for accessibility and disability inclusion. He leads initiatives across 19 countries to integrate accessibility into the fabric of our technology solutions.

Additionally, his role at Scope as Board Trustee and Chair of the External Audiences Committee complements this, fostering collaborations that push the envelope in digital inclusivity for disabled individuals.
